• One of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin not only serves a good cuisine but is one of the most affordable restaurants in its neighborhood. It attracts both homesick Italian expats as well as serious Berlin foodies. The cooks are definitely from the sunny Mediterranean, as reflected by their succulent pastas which are homemade and served fresh daily. In fact, you can easily fill up on a platter of one of these pastas, including penne with bacon and fresh tomatoes or tagliatelle with salmon. Another worthy pasta dish is fettuccine with spinach and mushrooms. Excellent wines also appear on the carte -- you can, for example, order a fine wine by the glass or a full liter. The staff speaks English and is both friendly and competent.
