- The Barist is situated in the archways beneath Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. It is simply and elegantly decorated, with a distinctively Italian flavour and a touch of Austrian charm. The service was way too slow and the food was not worth the while. The pasta was overcooked and the steak was dry. The staff were not helpfull, they didn't know what we had ordered...

Waited 30 minutes to order, and 1 hour for the food. Terrible service and booring food. Don't eat the steak!
