Description:

  • The Barist is situated in the archways beneath Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. It is simply and elegantly decorated, with a distinctively Italian flavour and a touch of Austrian charm. Set off from the restaurant is the bar area, where you can sip your cocktail to the accompaniment of a piano. The clientele is a colourful mix of styles and generations. The Barist offers great breakfasts, hearty sandwiches, a cheap midday menu and delicious Franco-Italian cuisine in the evening. The menu is constantly revised, meaning that you can return time and again and still be surprised by tasty new dishes.
