Description:

  • Musashi is an insider spot for sushi lovers, and unlike many other sushi-serving joints around town, the owners here are actually Japanese. Hidden amongst a seemingly endless number of Turkish restaurants and groceries, this pint-sized restaurant near the canal doesn't disappoint. The walls are adorned with samurai woodblock prints, sumo wrestlers and seemingly random Japanese magazine clippings. Overall, the setting is informal and seems more like an eatery you would find on the streets of Tokyo. While sushi is the premiere menu item, there is a menu full of non-sushi items to explore. And, of course, there is sake and Japanese beer. - Nic Shepherd
