Zum Patzenhofer

    • This bar/restaurant is situated very close to the Ku'damm. It is open daily, usually until 3 am. The menu is in German and English with an emphasis on traditional German dishes. There is an enormous range of bottled spirits. The clientele features local people as well as visitors, many of whom are American. The television is turned on occasionally, mainly for boxing. German language newspapers are available at the bar. The staff are friendly and helpful. All in all – a good place for the visitor to begin, or end, an evening in Berlin. Major credit cards accepted. The photograph, by the way, comes from my Book "Berlin A journey in time and place" published in 2005. I don't know how Localyte got it and I have copyright.
