Getting There:

By Air:

The Bermuda International Airport in St. George's (+1 441 293 1640 / http://www.bermudaairport.com) is the only airport in Bermuda and is about a 30-minute drive from Hamilton. The airport provides direct service and connections to international destinations from the following airlines:

British Airways (+1 800 247 9297 / http://www.britishairways.com)

Continental Airlines (+1 800 231 0856 / http://www.continental.com)

USA 3000 (+1 877 872 3000/ http://www.usa3000.com) Taxis are readily available at the airport daily and are located outside of the arrivals hall. The approximate fare to Hamilton is USD 20. There are also airport coaches that must be pre-booked.

Visitors are not allowed to rent automobiles in Bermuda.

Getting Around:

Several taxis run throughout the island and drivers tend to be informative and helpful. Major taxi operators include:

Buses (http://www.bermudabuses.com) service most areas of Bermuda and stops are designated by a pole with a top that is pink for inbound service into Hamilton and a blue top for outbound service. Transportation Passes are available fro 1, 3, or 7 days of unlimited bus or ferry service and are sold at the Central Terminal, Visitors' Service Bureau and some stores.

Ferries (http://www.seaexpress.bm) are a popular tourist attraction offering scenic journeys around Hamilton and the rest of Bermuda.

Scooters are also a fun and popular option to getting around the island. Keep in mind that all traffic drives on the left side of th road and the speed limit is 35 km/hr. Rental places include:
