• One of two excellent restaurants situated in the Newstead Belmont Hills hotel, Beau Rivage has the honor of being the only French restaurant on the island. The restaurant has incredible views of Hamilton Harbor, so be sure to try and dine there at sunset. The food is exquisite - if you're feeling lavish, try the seven-course prix-fixe menu - and the seafood, from the classic lobster bisque, to the rockfish, is cooked and served perfectly. There is a lavish selection of desserts and, as is typical of all good French restaurants, a very good wine list. Reservations are essential.
