• This south-shore restaurant's international menu revolves around Bermudian cuisine with Italian zest. Seating 35 to 40 (mostly locals), the inn is known for its value, generous portions, and its sense of fun, unpretentious cooking. Red bean soup, an ideal starter, reflects the island's Portuguese influence; and the Bermuda fish chowder is particularly good. The fresh catch of the day is usually delectable. Pasta dishes, including lasagna, are homemade. Poultry and meat, though frozen, are generally excellent -- the roast lamb and barbecued chicken are especially tasty. Many other dishes display influences that run from Chinese and Indian to Mexican, Spanish, and Portuguese.
