Opened in 1955, this trendy but fun bar and lounge is Polynesian Tiki-kitsch deluxe, especially if you are in the mood for strong exotic drinks. A favorite watering hole for some Hollywood heavies, this is part of Victor Bergron's famous chain of Tahitian-themed restaurants where the mai tai originated. Vic's has a huge menu of specialty drinks, like the mind-melting Scorpion bowl and Navy Grog, and features great appetizers (also known as pupu platters) like the Beef Cho Cho, do-it-yourself skewers of teriyaki beef roasted over a flaming hibachi.
