  • The Birmingham Barons are an AA minor league team affiliated with the Chicago White Sox. The Barons have featured marquee players like Frank Thomas and Robin Ventura on their way up to the major leagues, as well as basketball immortal Michael Jordan during his brief flirtation with baseball. The Barons play at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium; they also play at the annual Rickwood Classic. The season runs from April to September. Reserved seating and general admission tickets are available.
