  • Location. The hotel Pearse House is located in Bishop's Stortford, England, two miles from the town centre, the Corn Exchange, and the museum. Stansted Airport is five miles away.
    Hotel Features. The Victorian mansion is set in its own gardens and includes a fitness room and a library. In winter, a log fire is lit in the lounge. There is free parking on site.

    Guestrooms.All 39 guestrooms have original Victorian features including fireplaces, large windows, and high ceilings. The rooms are decorated in shades of red with antique-style furniture. The bathrooms have shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries. All guestrooms are equipped with televisions, direct-dial phones, and wireless Internet access. Further amenities include complimentary newspapers and coffee/tea makers.

    Expert Tip. The reconstructed Mountfitchet Castle allows visitors to feel as though they have travelled back in time to 1066 Norman England. The park includes a toy museum, a tea room, and a gift shop.
