    • The old port of Bizerte: a stretch of sea that crosses the old Bizerte town, like venise in a certain way! It is called a port but in fact it is used only by small ships for fishing and sightseeing trips. The water is surrounded by a many cafe terraces and restaurants, especially ones specialised in fresh grilled fish, that you can eat afew metres from the sea! nearby is the Bizerte medina - traditional town - and the fish market. At the cafes, you can relax and drink a coffee or tea, and smoke a chicha! Very calm and relaxing place. Not many tourists! If you don' t like hotels, you can always stay in a budget guest house, located at the very charming Corniche. The Guest house is called TunisHomestay.
