Rugby World Cup 2011 Volunteers
Events, Things to Do, What's New — By Marie Szamborski on September 6, 2010 at 9:13 pmIf you are a rugby fan and you are planning a trip to New Zealand next year, there is no way that you wouldn’t be aware of a little event we’re hosting down here known as the 2011 Rugby World Cup. For most visitors, the following information will be irrelevant. However there is a select group of people, namely Working Holiday Visa (WHV) holders, who may be keen to know that you can be a volunteer at the events. We need lots of volunteers at all locations but particularly in Auckland. If you will be in New Zealand from June 2011 and are willing to partake in training you may be in for a once in a lifetime event. There are no kickbacks, no pay, no tickets, and no free accommodation, but being a part of such a huge event will be really exciting and a good way to hang out with ordinary (possibly rugby mad) Kiwis. Long term visitors on tourist visas may also be eligible, but you should read the website carefully as there are some immigration rules.
The deadline for signing up is 24 September. Go to the website and follow the instructions to get on your way. And if you do volunteer (like me), leave us a message here in case we need to organise any volunteer afterparties.

Wow, fantastic blog layout! How long have you been blogging for? you make blogging look easy. The overall look of your site is wonderful, let alone the content!
Hi, Neat post. There’s a problem with your website in internet explorer, would test this… IE still is the market leader and a big portion of people will miss your great writing because of this problem.
