San Joan Has Arrived!

The city already feels desolate as Barcelonians are taking advantage of the puente, taking not only Friday off but Wednesday as well to make it a 2 day week and a 5 day long weekend! Gotta love this city! Those sticking around will ‘aprovechar’ at one of the many many beach parties.

San Joan Fiesta in Barcelona

San Joan is Barcelona’s tribute to summer, celebrating the mid summer solstice on June 23rd and taking the day off on the 24th to recuperate and soak up the sun. It’s one of Barcelona’s biggest fiestas. The vibe is contagious and the city, feels its most alive!
