Experience the Wild West in Lebanon
As far as cuisines and entertainment go, there is hardly any nationality which is not represented in the Lebanon. A sin fin of restaurants not only in Beirut but all over the country cater to nearly every taste and the same goes for activities and weekend breaks.
So it won’t come as a surprise that if you fancy to play cowboy for a few days, all you have to do is go on a short drive about 40 km from Beirut and spend a few days or a weekend in the theme pakr/restaurant/hotel/camping ground of El Rancho Western Park.
Located on 250.000 acres in the gorgeous Ghordas Hill near Keserwan, the resort was host to the first Rodeo in the Middle East in August 2010. You can stay in bungalows or tents, enjoy juicy steaks or jumbo burgers, all freshly grilled and served by cowboys and cowgirls. There is also a kids corner to entertain the children.
Activities are plentiful too, from horseback riding to paint ball, archery, tennis and hiking to simply relax, lean back and enjoy the rich Lebanese nature and imagine that you are thousands of miles away in the Wild West of the US.
