Vail Opens Tomorrow, Friday 11/19

After getting nearly three feet of snow in the last week, Vail announced yesterday that the resort will open on Friday, November 19 with nine lifts and 1,150 acres of skiable terrain. Additional terrain will open to the public as soon as conditions and weather permit. For opening day tomorrow, Vail will be offering $1 breakfast burritos and free hot cocoa, and will host a free concert in Lionshead Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m featuring Boulder-based Big Gigantic, an electronica hip-hop band.
