Hot Fest 2010 This Weekend

Thursday night kicks off this year’s Hot Fest and the lineup of international music acts is stellar. Catch Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins in the opening night performance at Luna Park, then rest up for the weekend – Friday in Costanera Sur, at the amphiteater just next to the Ecological Reserve entrance, welcomes Scissor Sisters, Hot Chip, and Girl Talk, among others, while Saturday is a whirlwind of funky ambient with Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, and Stereophonics headlining the night. Also be sure to catch the US-based pop-dance kit Cobra Starship, headed by Uruguayan Gabe Saporta. The Monday festival closer is Pavement, back at Luna Park.
