Everyone knows that fantastic food is an absolute must on any vacation.  If you’re one who places great food in top priority, Mother’s Restaurant is certainly the place for you.  Once you walk into this beautiful restaurant, be prepared for a little bit of magic.  This beautiful candlelit restaurant is a gem.  Loved by the locals and tourists alike, the menu is written by hand (really!) and supports all that’s local to the Buffalo area.  They have a menu that does not rotate, but the restaurant also has a large amount of specials that it adds on according to what’s seasonal and delicious.  If it’s a beautiful night out, reserve a table on the outdoor patio.  This a perfect place to take a special someone, but it’s also great for a relaxing evening of dining with family and friends.  It is not, however, the best place for children.  The menu is both diverse and creative, and manages to turn classic Continental fare into something special.  Mother’s boasts a full bar, so rest assured that you’ll have your choice of cocktail.  If you’re a wine connoisseur, be sure and order a glass of wine that compliments your meal!  Or you can bring your own; there’s no corkage fee!  For an appetizer, the potato gnocchi are delicious.  For a main course, the steak is recommended, as is the grilled lamb rib chops.  And make sure to save some room for dessert!  An added perk; the kitchen stays open into the wee hours of the night (3am to be exact), making this a perfect spot for some late-night grub with a streak of luxury.  The ambiance here is definitely unparalleled, and this is one of the more beautiful dining spots in Buffalo.
