From Wednesday 21st July to Sunday 1st August Cheltenham’s Bacon Theatre will be putting on its Open-Air Theatre Festival.

This is the 7th year that the festival has run and you can expect to see performances that include Shakespeare, local theatre, classical drama, family entertainment, cinema under the stars, and live music.

The shows take place at the stone built Tuckwell Amphitheatre in Dean Close School.

So grab your deck chairs, pack the picnic and enjoy the show.

Running schedule:

Wednesday 21st July: The Importance of being Earnest 7.30pm (£12, £10 for concessions)

Saturday 24th July: Romeo and Juliet 7.30pm (£13)

Sunday 25th July: The Dragon’s Daughter 5pm (family fun) (£10 or £30 for a family)

Tuesday 27th July: Soul Power (12A) 9.15pm (Cinema Under the Stars) (£6)

Wednesday 28th July: The Tempest 730pm (£12, £10 for concessions)

Saturday 31st July: The Three Musketeers 7pm (£10, £8 for concessions)

Sunday 1st August: Jazz on a summer’s evening 730pm (£15, £13 for concessions)
