It is going to be a huge weekend for Chicago Bears fans here in Chi-Town, but I must realize that there will be some you either living in Chicago, or visiting for the weekend, that are die-hard Packers fans. You didn’t score tickets to the game and you cannot be with your other Packers-loving buddies in your home state, and the last thing you want is to be surrounded by Bears fanatics. So, for those who are unfamiliar with the Chicago bar scene, and need a helping hand to find a bar full of people like you, I am here to give you a few helpful suggestions.

To feel not too far from home, head to Will’s Northwoods Inn this Sunday to feel as though you are right in Wisconsin. They say the bar is, “A little bit of God’s country in the heart of Lakeview.” On Packers game days they offer $5 32-ounce souvenir cups, $9 pitchers of Miller Lite and Leinenkugel’s Original, as well as $2 burgers, $2 brats, and large cheese and sausage trays. This welcoming cabin-like bar will definitely be very crowded this weekend, so arrive early.

The Lakeview neighborhood also holds another popular Packers bar, The Spot on Broadway. This super fun bar often hosts comedy, theater, and burlesque shows, and also offers karaoke, but on game days it is solely a sports bar, with an emphasis on the Packers! They have six projection screens and multiple monitors. This Sunday will also make you happy if you choose to watch the game at The Spot, because they offer a brunch menu in the morning and half off their food menu after 6pm. So, get ready to spend the day at The Spot!
