Winter Skating & Dancing in Chicago

Things to Do — By adimarcial on January 27, 2011 at 5:25 pm

Forget about the sadness from last weekend, which seems to be permeating the overall vibe this week and look forward to spicing up this coming weekend with Chicago Winter Dance in Millennium Park!  Warm up during these cold winter evenings with free dance lessons and dance sessions on the Jay Pritzker Pavilion Stage. Retractable glass doors will keep you warm and enclosed onstage, while professional dance instructors guide you in the moves of the Fox-Trot, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Tango, Swing, and many more!

Check the schedule of lessons here.

If dancing isn’t your thing, head over to Millennium Park’s McCormick Tribune Ice Rink for evening skating. During the month of February free skating lessons will be offered Saturday and Sunday mornings, as well as scheduled Ice Skating and Ice Sports throughout the month. Special themed Ice Skating Dance Parties will be hosted on the rink for free as well, including on Valentine’s Day!
