Did you know that Bram Stoker the famous author of spooky novel ‘Dracula’ was originally from Dublin?

His former home is situated in Kildare Street in central Dublin and you can see a commemorative plaque outside the building dedicated to his honour. The name ‘Dracula’ was meant to have come from the Irish words ‘droch fhola” pronounced ‘druc ola’ meaning bad blood.

This weekend October 31st  there is a Bram Stoker Dracula Halloween Horror Festival being held in Clontarf Castle  to celebrate Halloween. The festival is to be packed full of Spooky chilling and thrilling activities defintely worth checking out.  THe
