Cerro Amigo

This weekend we hiked Cerro Amigo right outside of town. It’s a classic little walk to take after visiting the Feria.

You walk just start walking east on Islas Malvinas for approx 1 km until it dead-ends. From there, go north (left) appox. .5 km up the hill. A parking area / trail head is on left side of road.

Trails lead approx. 400 meters up to a main panorama, however, continuing past this until the end of the trail leads to a better lookout–a large rock outcropping with great views of the entire valley of El Bolson and the Andean Cordillera.

We took this picture of us overlooking the fields north of town.
