If you’re planning on spending a long day hiking around Flagstaff, you’ll want to start the day out with a solid breakfast.  At La Bellavia Restaurant, you’ll find one of the best breakfasts in town, hands down.  Decorated like a true country café, this is one of the top spots to eat breakfast according to both locals and tourists.  It’s easily one of the most welcoming breakfast places around.  Although there’s usually a bit of a wait, it’s well worth it.  The restaurant is a bit small, and they’re known for really packin’ in the people.  But it’s true what they say; people flock to a great restaurant.  Although the restaurant also serves lunch, it’s truly a hit during the breakfast hours.  It’s said that the poached eggs are the true specialty, but truly, everything is delicious.  Open from 6:30 to 2:30pm, any of the egg dishes are the local favorites.  In particular, the Eggs Benedict are the popular choice among locals.  If you’re in the mood for a truly delicious jolt of caffeine, the Café Aloha is a great choice.  A traditional cappuccino topped with coconut milk, this drink is a great compliment to the fare.  For something on the creative side, check out the Pan-Fried Trout and Eggs.  An entire trout (yes, and entire trout), is served on top of two eggs (served any way your heart desires) over an English muffin, potatoes, or a massive pancake.  If you’re one of those people that believes a well-rounded breakfast is the only way to start the day, look no further than La Bellavia.
