Events — By katiegreenaway on February 4, 2011 at 7:59 am

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Artistinal Chocolate Festival is being held in Piazza Santa Croce. There will be 25-plus chocolate makers showing off their goodness of chocolate. Savor a taste and even have a chocolate heart gift wrapped for your sweetheart. In participation with the upcoming Carnevale season, they are asking people to come in costume to feature the Florentine Carnevale on February 6th. There will be group contests at 10:30pm (groups must have a theme) and which ever group wins will be featured in a Tuscan newspaper. There will also be an exhibit in cooperation with Alinari Photography Museum called “La storia del cioccolato in fotografia” (The story of chocolate in photography). See how chocolate come about over the years in pictures. I can hear your mouths watering now. :)
