Florence’s Rose Garden has been under restoration for the past 2 years and now it is opening a new to show off its gorgeous flowers. A new walking path, more lighting has been added and there is an improved irrigation system. If you haven’t visited this garden before, mark it on your list for a place to see. It is located right below the famous Piazzale Michelangelo. The views are worth bringing a pack lunch and enjoying the sunset. The Rose Garden opens at 8am and closes at 8pm. Perfect! You have time to see the sun begin to set then you can finish watching it from Piazzale Michelangelo. I have organized your first night in Florence. Done! The garden holds over 1,000 plants and hundreds of different species of roses and a Japanese garden.
