One of the best parts about a fantastic vacation is the food.  Here in Fort Meyers, the story is no different.  For some of the best food in the area, check out a restaurant truly dedicated to the beach experience; Bahama Breeze.  The area has an overwhelming Caribbean influence, and at Bahama Breeze, it’s the culinary delight that rules the menu.  With a beautiful island atmosphere, this is great restaurant for the whole family.  Food is fresh, creative, and highly inventive.  Each meal is spicy and strong in the flavor department.  To start, check out one of the delicious island cocktails.  Nothing sets the mood like a drink topped with fruit!  The restaurant’s signature cocktail is called the Bahamarita, which is an island take on the classic margarita.  For an appetizer, the Coconut Shrimp are delicious.  The Fire Roasted Jerk Shrimp are also spicy and delicious.  For main courses, the restaurant has a great variety of both seafood and meat dishes, making this a great place to go with small children.  If you’re craving some seafood, look no further than the Seafood Paella.  For something truly memorable, the restaurant has a fresh fish menu that literally only serves what’s fresh for the day.  Although the selection of fresh fish rotates on a daily basis, the preparations remain static.  Anything with the Almond Crusted preparation is fantastic.  If you’d rather stick to what lives on the land, the Jamaican Grilled Chicken Breast is a restaurant favorite.  The Baby Back Ribs are also a local favorite, and are served smothered with a guava barbeque sauce.  Be sure and save some room for dessert!  Rebecca’s Key Lime Pie is definitely one of the best, not to mention that it’s the homemade dessert that the restaurant is so well-loved for!
