When You Need The Loo in Glasgow..

If you are out and about in Glasgow there are no worries about finding public toilets. There are 5 public toilet sites around the city centre and the majority of Glasgow’s 90 parks also have toilet facilities.

  1. Collins Street
  2. St Vincent Street(43 St Vincent Place)
  3. Stevenson Street(39 Stevenson Street)
  4. West Campbell Street(281A West Campbell Street)
  5. Argyle Street at Queen Street

All are open Mon-Sun 24 hours and all have disabled access except, Argyle Street at Queen Street. I recently visited the toilet at Argyle Street at Queen Street and found it to be reasonably clean. The price was 10p and the other four charge 10-20p also.

Personally  I would say your best bet is to take advantage of the toilets in the  several shopping malls in the city centre which have excellent public restrooms and they are always well stocked with the much needed essential items too!

  • Buchanan Galleries
  • St Enoch Centre
  • Prince’s Square
  • Argyll Arcade
  • Merchant Square Indoor Shopping
  • Sauchiehall Street Shopping Centre
  • Savoy Shopping Centre

Or hop into one of the many restaurants, fast food places and bars scattered throughout the city. Just watch out some places insist you buy something.. an excuse for a break? Or just stick to the malls.
