Earth Hour in Istanbul

As some of you might know, countries around the world are participating in “Earth Hour” to help promote and encourage environmental awareness. To participate, a lot of banks in Turkey are shutting down their lighting systems on the night of 27th of March 2010 -they have already notified employers and the general public.

Kanyon Shopping Mall, which is usually overly crowded on a weekend night with people out at dinner or out to see a movie, has also announced that it will be turning off its lights this Saturday for an hour! Wonder what the “Wanna Be’s” planning on dining at Wanna tomorrow night will do…
