Since December 23rd, Pera Museum has been hosting two remarkable Mexican characters: Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

Pera Museum Program

The exhibition stems from the Gelman Collection of Collectors Jacques and Natasha Gelman. Jacques and Natasha Gelman spent a long time in Mexico -during which they collected massive Mexican art samples. Amongst these are unique portraits of Frida Kahlo and rare examples of Diego Rivera’s canvas paintings.

Painting from the Exhibition

Both Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera generated wide  public interest throughout the history. Their unique life stories have been subject to numerous plays and motion pictures. This is the very first time that such an exhibition featuring these renown figures take place in Turkey.

The exhibition will last until March 20, 2011.
