Jerusalem City of Lights
Events, Nightlife, Things to Do, What's New — By Judy Lash Balint on June 10, 2010 at 8:22 amNobody comes to Jerusalem without visiting the Old City, of course, but if you’re here within the next week, make sure you plan on visiting at night! Last night I went to the opening of Jerusalem’s 2nd annual Festival of Light, which was an incredible musical and visual extravaganza staged in the beautiful Sultans Pool space just below the Old City walls.
You can see what I mean in the video I shot of the event.
The rest of the week’s events are free and are just a taste of this summer’s plethora of cultural events in Jerusalem. Put on your comfortable shoes, take a light sweater for the cool evening breeze, head over to Jaffa Gate, pick up a map and enjoy a few hours of great sensual entertainment.
