Mother’s Day in Las Vegas

What can you do in Las Vegas for Mother’s Day? That depends on what your mom likes to do. If she’s in Vegas to live it up for a few days, maybe she’d like to see the hunky men at Chippendales or Thunder From Down Under. You could also rent a cabana for her at one of the pool parties/clubs. If she’s in Vegas to try out the idea that the stuff that happens here doesn’t follow you back home, the opportunities are almost endless. But if Mom isn’t the type to sign up for Stripper 101, you can always try some more traditional activities:
- Brunch: Las Vegas loves brunch on any Sunday, but Mother’s Day gives the restaurants an excuse to really show off. You might want to try the special Mom’s Day menu at the Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, Dos Caminos at the Palazzo (which is also offering a cooking class for Mom), Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris, Postrio at the Venetian, or the Top of the World Restaurant at the S
tratosphere.
- Spa: Every spa in Las Vegas offers first-class pampering. If Mom likes to contribute to worthwhile causes, try the Trump International’s spa , which is donating $25 to the American Heart Association for every spa package booked through the end of May.
- Shopping: The Las Vegas Strip is stuffed full of upper-crust shopping malls–the Fashion Show, the Grand Canal Shoppes, Caesars Palace Forum Shops, and Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood, to name a few. CityCenter offers the newest shopping mall with ultra-trendy Crystals.
