Pool clubs and parties have been heating up all spring and summer, and they’re all planning parties for the Fourth. Holly Madison will be at MGM’s ultra pool, Wet Republic, to host 4th of July festivities. At the Palms Pool, there’s no cover charge for the parties on July 3 or July 4. The Stratosphere’s pool party is also no cover, and guests can go to the top of the tower later in the evening to see the Strip’s fireworks. Tao Beach at the Venetian is throwing a barbeque on Friday, July 2, so if you have to have a burger or a dog to make the Fourth complete, you’re in luck.
Caesars Palace and the Las Vegas Hilton are setting off fireworks displays in the evening. Look for bursts of color from Caesars about 9:00 p.m. and the Hilton around 9:20 p.m. Station Casinos, the chain of local hotel casinos off the Strip in Las Vegas, will have displays at some of its properties–Green Valley Ranch, Aliante Station, Red Rock Resort, Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station–at about 8:45 p.m.
The 4th of July may be a day America remembers declaring independence, but with the parties in Las Vegas, some visitors may not remember much of their holiday. At rocker Sammy Hagar’s new place, Cabo Wabo in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops, you can enjoy $1 beer while singing rock and roll karaoke. Rockhouse, in front of the Imperial Palace, plans on starting the party early on July 1, and on the Fourth they’re celebrating with “Red, White, and Booze.” Here you can beer pong all weekend long.
