London welcomes TOTEM another spectaculur Cirque du Soleil production to Royal Albert Hall. Through aerial acrobatics, dance, Russian bars and even on roller skates performers illustrate the story of the birth and evolution of the world. Inspired by legends from ancient civilization and by science, TOTEM follows the journey of humans from amphibian stage to our desire to fly, linking Man to all living species.

Kym Barrett designed costumes rich in texture and color based on nature yet highlight the body and its glorious movements. TOTEM was written and directed by legendary Canadian artist Robert Lapage, his second Cirque show. In 1984 Cirque du Soleil began as a small troupe of street performers and today produces 22 world renown shows.
