The AEGON Center is Kentucky’s largest building at 549 feet and 35 stories. Located at 400 West Market in downtown Louisville, the building was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and was completed in 1993. A public plaza on the building’s south side invites visitors to take a break on the benches or by the fountains. The building’s lobby is also open to the public. The plaza is a short walk from Fourth Street Live, the Seelbach and Brown hotels, the Convention Center, Actors Theatre Louisville, and the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.
