Watch Grease in Maui’s Iao Theater Starting this 2/24

Last season Maui OnStage had sold-out productions of “Cats” and “Chicago”. This play will be no different, so get your tickets as soon as possible. Tickets are $40, $22 and $15. Dinner packages are also available and you can choose to eat at Café O’Lei or Bistro Casanova. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. You will not be disappointed in the caliber of talent here on Maui. Some of the main cast members include Eric Peterson, Jacqui Sherwood, Lia Krieg and Jerry Eiting who have performed in other plays and musicals around the island. “Grease” is rated PG-13 and may not be appropriate for children.
Iao Theater opened in 1928 and was the main entertainment venue in Wailuku screening movies and live stage acts for the public. Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Mickey Rooney, and Donald O’Connor all made appearances at the Iao Theater. It is now on the National Register of historic places.
This musical will be the talk of the town and if you want to be in those conversations make sure you reserve a ticket to see this show. Sing along to all the old favorite songs or just sit back, relax, and remember the 60s. Grease is the word!
