Own a Second Home in South Beach or Enjoy a Miami Beach Vacation Rental
Hotels, Travel Tips, What's New — By sroxborough on February 7, 2011 at 12:04 pmIn my most recent weekly “Getting Away” column covering second-home destinations for The Record newspaper (a 200,000-circulation daily in the New Jersey suburbs of New York City), I profiled South Beach as a vacation home spot. In the article, I recommended staying at The Beacon, one of the few hotels in Miami Beach with rooms starting at under $200 a night, and the modern and luxurious Fontainebleau Hotel, which has been the big screen stomping ground of everyone from Sean Connery as British spy 007 to Al Pacino in “Scarface” to Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston in “The Bodyguard” (it has also hosted the Victoria’s Secret lingerie show). Browse local HomeAway vacation rentals.
