The Coyote Grill – Mexican in Munich

This week I thought I would switch gears and highlight something completely different:   a Mexican fast food place owned and operated by expatriates.

It’s not the type of place where you can sit down, relax, and unwind for the evening.  Instead, this is the place to stop by on your way to or from the dance clubs of Munich located in what is known as the “Kult Fabrik” area.  The Kult Fabrik advertises itself as the largest party area in Europe and has dance clubs for every musical taste.  If you’re going to dance all night you should definitely try some tasty Mexican instead of the burgers and fries that is the only other option in the area.

It’s a taco stand with the closest to the taste of home that you’re going to get in Munich, so if you’re looking for that taste of home while on that long tour of Europe, this is your answer.

The Food:  This is the closest to a proper Mexican taco stand that you’re going to get in Germany.  They have a wide selection of hot sauces if you enjoy flames coming off your tongue.  They also do a Tennessee Bar-B-Q sandwich, oddly enough.

The Price:  Their prices are extremely reasonable; you should be able to get your fill for €5 plus drink.

The Atmosphere:  It’s a taco stand in the largest party area in Europe.
