La Notte dei Musei Napoli 2010

Looking for an absolutely magical way to spend Saturday night? This Saturday, may 15th, is La Notte dei Musei in Campania. Tomorrow from 8pm to 2am thirty two (yes, 32!) museums and historical sights in Campania will be open for free (last entrance 1am). That includes major sights like the National Archaeological Museum, which I just wrote about earlier this week, the Capodimonte Museum, Castel Sant’Elmo, Palazzo Reale and the Royal Palace of Caserta. And many more! This also includes nighttime visits to the archaeological ruins of Pompeii and Ercolano, an evocative and moving way to experience these important sights.
