It’s that time of year again when you have to scour the nation to find the perfect Halloween costume for you and the family and you only have less than a month to do so. Well don’t worry as you will find the perfect costumes that you can showcase at the annual Pumpkin Festival at Happy Rolph’s Bird Sanctuary on October 15th. The event has been running for ages and is everything Halloween. Spend the day carving pumpkins, building scarecrows, going Ghost Bowling or Cauldron Fishing. Whichever event you and the family decide to partake in while at Pumpkinville, you’ll be happy you brought the kids here for the day to enjoy a little Halloween festivities. With an abundance of games, a chance to jump right on in into the jump and bounce and hay dives it certainly is one that will go down in your family’s memory as the best October festival to partake in.

The scarecrow and pumpkin carving contests registration begins at 9am, so make sure you get there early to pick the best pumpkin and decorate the best scarecrow, as the lines will be endless if you arrive late. If you decide to deck yourselves out in all things Halloween then take a photo in the Barn with Rachelle Photography to have a memento for the Pumpkin-filled day.

At Pumpkinville you will certainly leave happy knowing you partook one of the coolest Halloween festivals in Niagara. Happy Rolph’s Bird Sanctuary is located on Read Road, which is off of Lakeshore Road. The sanctuary can be reached at 905.688.5601 ext. 1570.
