Having trouble figuring out what to do this New Years Eve? With a little help from The Niagara Parks Commission you will know longer have to worry about finding that perfect outfit or figuring out what to do with your hair as one of the largest outdoor NYE parties is awaiting you in Queen Victoria Park. Not only does the festival have one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world, of course Niagara Falls, but offers up a place to eat, drink and be merry as you drown away your NYE party woos with an eclectic beat of tunes strumming through the air. The Concert Extravaganza continually holds artists that will rock your socks off as you bounce to the beat of bands such as Great Big Sea, Kardinal Offishall and The Barenaked Ladies. And as your bouncing to the beat try to steal the cameras lens as the program is broadcasted live on Global every New Years Eve, it truly can’t get any better than this. Before you head off to the concert for the evening take a drive through The Winter Festival of Lights, which showcases a magical slew of light pictures that emulate the sky. Make sure you make it to Queen Victoria Park nice and early as the show starts at 6:30, so you will surely want to be front and centre for one of Ontario’s biggest outdoor extravaganzas.
