Yippee! Another year slowly comes to a close making it time to say “see ya later 2010… hello 2011.” New Year’s Eve lets us celebrate the year ahead with the hopes that 2011 will be easier, better, and more fun (at least, that’s what I’m hoping for).
Why not kick it off with an outrageously fun night in Orlando. There are hundreds of ways to ring in 2011… here are a few of my favorites:
Ember in downtown Orlando is hosting a New Year’s Eve party with no cover at the door. The party will feature two DJs spinning music in separate areas, bottle service at all tables and 50 lbs of confetti released at midnight.
Enzian presents a “Dress to Kill: A James Bond New Year’s Party” themed to the James Bond film series. The evening will feature Bond-themed drink specials, a live DJ and an outdoor screening of the movie, “Thunderball.” General admission tickets are $25 and V.I.P. tables are $150 per couple.
Howl at the Moon
This New Year’s Eve party will have several packages offering everything from midnight champagne toasts to gourmet buffets and open bar.
Head to the New Year’s 2011 ICE BALL for the Polar Bear Package which includes admission into Fire Lounge, Icebar, thermal capes and gloves, entertainment, midnight buffet, champagne toast at midnight and a photo keychain for $40 per person. For an extra $35, upgrade to the open bar package.
Church Street will be blocked off for its 10th Annual New Year’s Eve Street Party featuring admission to five Church Street bars as well as the outdoor street party, a huge video wall, confetti cannons, fireworks and the traditional Orange Drop above Church Street. The festivities start at 8 pm. Admission ranges from $39-$99 with different all-you-can-drink packages.
