If exploring Florida’s extensive waterways in a kayak or canoe sounds like your type of trip, then you’ll love Adventures in Florida, an action-oriented guide service that provides some pretty sweet trips across the sunshine state. The company was started by a group of lifelong friends whose love of action-packed trips blossomed into full fledged jobs.

This team of friends offer a wide range of adventures including lodge-based trips that last up to seven days. Imagine gliding through the water experiencing the outer bounds of nature for a full week! That certainly is a great way to enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

If you’d like to start with a day trip, consider the Full Moon Paddle; it is a bit more unusual than the typical kayaking excursion and quite an experience for only $40 a person. It includes a paddle down Winter Park’s Chain of Lakes to the perfect spot to gaze upon the vibrant sunset and moonrise. Enjoy a few laughs with friends, a delicious light snack and even a few frightening ghost stories while basking in the night’s glow.
