When it comes to catching a concert in Orlando, there are plenty of places to choose from.

1. Hard Rock Live
Designed to look like a coliseum, this venue at Universal CityWalk has a grand entrance, majestic archways and, of course, stately columns. It can fit up to 2,500 concert-goers and is equipped with  the latest in sound and light technology.

2. House of Blues Orlando
Get your fill of blues, rhythm and blues, gospel, jazz and roots-based rock & roll at this popular Downtown Disney venue. From the live music to the original folk art to the delta-inspired cuisine, this place is original. Plus, there’s a Gospel Brunch each Sunday with an amazing buffet. We’re talking cornbread muffins with maple butter. Breakfast potatoes. Cheese-filled tortellini. Need we say more? The homemade fruit cobbler and banana bread pudding will have you singing hosannas.

3. The Social
The Social is a small venue located in the heart of downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue. There is a string of bars and restaurants here that will keep you busy for hours.

4. Wall Street Plaza
Wall Street Plaza, also downtown, regularly holds concerts outside. In fact, it plays host to the Florida Music Festival each year (www.floridamusicfestival.com), a must-see event for any music-lover. Afterward, continue the party at the handful of bars and restaurants surrounding the stage.

5. Amway Arena
This downtown venue was recently built to host major shows, rock concerts and sporting events. Orlando’s basketball team, the Orlando Magic, also plays here.
