Getting a bird’s eye view of Central Florida is a great way to become familiar with the area.

Bluwater Balloons
Get up bright and early to witness massive balloons being inflated. Then hop in for a one-hour flight where guests fly over orange groves, cypress forests and sparkling lakes. Once you land you’ll be greeted with glasses of champagne. It’s peaceful and exhilarating all at the same time. One thing is certain: It’s an experience you won’t soon forget. With that said, it makes for a great way to celebrate a special occasion, birthday, engagement, anniversary or corporate outing.

Fantasy of Flight
Lean into a cloud simulation to feel the sensation of parachuting to earth, then step into a 1903 scene as the Wright Brothers celebrate their first successful flight. Witness the drama of a World War I aerial dogfight, then board a real B-17 Flying Fortress to reenact a flight at 25,000 feet over enemy territory.

Fantasy of Flight, welcomes guests to a world that captures the wonder of aviation and the history of those marvelous flying machines. And it gives you the chance to stroll among the world’s largest collection of vintage airplanes dating from the early 1900s, including World War II standouts like the rare P-51C Mustang featuring red tail colors of the Tuskegee Airmen and the B-26 Marauder, which saw combat in the South Pacific and over North Africa.

Themed sight- and sound-immersion experiences showcase memorable moments in aviation history, and a new self-guided audio tour gives an added sense of time and place, as well as insider details about featured aviators. Guided tours go behind the scenes to show how craftsmen restore vintage planes. The only attraction in the world that offers daily aerial demonstrations, Fantasy of Flight showcases different vintage planes with each flight and offers a question-and-answer session with the pilot. Experiences and tours within the art-deco style attraction are multifaceted.

The company, which has 15 years of parasailing experience, will arrange everything, you just have to show up. Once you are up 800 feet in the air, you might spot dolphins, whales, sting rays and sea turtles. Plus, you’ll catch a glimpse of the iconic Kennedy Space Center, too. Pick up is straight from the dock at Rusty’s Seafood and Oyster Bar, located in Port Canaveral’s exciting restaurant and marina spot, The Cove.

Wallaby Ranch
Uh, you can hang glide without mountains? Sure you can, according to the flying experts at Wallaby Ranch. It’s called aerotowing – think launching upward 2,000 feet then gliding nose first out of the sky while wrapped up like a human burrito. This old farm-turned-hang-gliding paradise is equal parts thrilling and family friendly. (And a bargain at $120 per lesson — to fly!) After your high-altitude frolic, try hammock lounging, trampoline bouncing or bungee slinging, a story in itself.
