Ever had a tarantula walk slowly across your arm? Do you suffer from arachnophobia and long for an easier relationship with these fascinating creatures?

Well, now you can. If you’re in Oslo, that is. Spiders and other Creepy Crawlies are on exhibit at Posthallen in the city centre.

The exhibit comprises a great variety of the world’s most exciting species of spiders, scorpions and other creepy crawlies.  Kids love the beautiful critters and local pre-schools have visited by the bus/subway-loads. It was meant to close in January. However,  this intriguing and educational exhibition has been so popular, it will continue throughout the spring season.

Psychologists are on hand to help you deal with arachnophobia (you’re advised to e-mail beforehand) . Apparently, this has met with some success.  On the exhibition website (in Norwegian only), a former arachnophobe announces he is now considering getting a Chilenian Rose as a pet.

Right up my alley. They should keep it open forever. I’ve had alot more creepy things crawl across my body than tarantulas!
