So, these workshops have just come to my attention!

Firstly, great value bread making in Wolvercote..

The Love Loaves Workshops run by Dragan and Penny are held in their converted out-house/ bake-house. I first sampled one of their loaves at The Post Box village store in Wolvercote and it was a dream. The workshops are one day affairs and there are a variety to choose from.

I cannot think of a better way to get a feel of Oxford’s charm than to enjoy a cycle across Port Meadow to Wolvercote where you get stuck in to some baking and then head to The Trout for a bev afterwards.

Secondly, The Jam Factory is now running Art courses! How cool is that! Learn to paint and draw in a wicked setting and follow your class with a delicious glass of wine or a meal to rest your artist’s hands. They span over 5 weeks so you may well need to extend your visit to Oxford….! Ah well, if the artist calls…
