Here are some of the best ways to celebrate the Fourth around Phoenix and beyond.

CBS 5 July 4th Festival at Tempe Town Lake: This is one of the largest Fourth of July parties in the Valley, featuring live entertainment from pop rockers Lil’ Debbie Band and Grand Theft Audio 3. The Kiwanis Club hosts the massive, post-concert firework display over the lake.

Chandler’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular: This free family festival kicks off at 4 p.m. at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. Food, live music, and kid-friendly water activities precede the evening’s firework display.

Fourth of July All-American Festival & Centennial Celebration: The west side’s biggest Fourth of July celebration takes place at the Peoria Sports Complex. There will be water activities for the kids, performances from Radio Disney, rock music from KDKB, and when evening falls, an impressive fireworks display that will have the crowd oohing and ahhing.

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth: This is the quintessential Phoenix Fourth of July festival, held this year at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix. Come Back Buddy and Uptown Angels give the party a retro 50s feel, and a dedicated kid’s play area will delight the little ones. Also on the agenda is an armed forces ceremony and F-16 flyover before the sure-to-amaze fireworks display.
