New Restaurant: Panache

Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas is one of the premier 5-star villages on the island. Already home to a number of restaurants and cafes, Outrigger is now opening a new eating space on site, Panache.

Panache is special in more ways than one.

The restaurant is all about providing healthy food without sacrificing flavor. Executive chef Robert Czeschka is happy to modify any recipe to fit your preferences, whether that means reducing the calories on a dish or replacing anchovies for mushrooms to make the dish vegetarian. Less salt? Less sugar> More veggies? Not a problem at Panache.  Czeschka believes that food should be flexible, so requests are welcome here.

Panache serves both European and Thai cuisine, with a focus on healthy juices, low-fat broths and sauces and unique versions of classics such as phad siew and phad thai. Although most dishes are affordable (under U$10), those not on a tight budget can indulge on some luxuries, such as the pepper steak flambé for U$23 or the saffron risotto with salmon and red chili oil for U$22.

There’s even a kids’ menu here, with fun choices like “Don’t Tell Dad” (burger with fries), Going Green Kidz (green veggies, tofu and apple stripes with a side of banana smoothie) and Pick My Pizza (which allows kids to choose their own toppings).

Panache opened its doors on August 15th and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
