Gee, are we getting fashioned out yet? Back in July, we wrote about Code: Mode, Prague’s Free Fashion Weekend, and lookie-here, it’s another one! Held on our own fashionable Pařížská Street, right off of Old Town Square, Prague Fashion Weekend (September 4-5, staring at 1pm both days) aims to offer inspiration to the city with cutting edge designs by both local and international designers. A super long catwalk will be kept busy with models showing off not only local designer dudes, but also collections from international brands.

What should be most interesting to catch are the presentations of emerging Czech and Slovak designers. Collections by eight designers will be on view during the weekend’s New Fresh Style competition. If you have any interest in fashion at all, do head over beginning at 2:30pm on Saturday – 17 Czech and Slovak designers will be presenting their collections. Ones to check out include Mimi Lan, Hana Havelková and Tat’ána Kováříková. If you are all about the brand, catch the main fashion show, Saturday evening at 8:30pm featuring Ferre Milano. Sunday afternoon will see international brand fashion shows.

Pařížská is Prague’s answer to New York’s 5th Avenue and is filled with high end shops like Burberry, Cartier, Gucci, etc. It’s a pretty leafy street and on either side of it stretches the Jewish Quarter.
