Charles Bridge is one of the icons of Prague. As a visitor, a walk across and taking the all-important snaps are a must-do. During the day it’s a crowded place; tourists jostling for the best shot of a statue or Prague Castle, vendors hawking their wares…but come nightfall the bridge quiets down. No more sellers and a lot less tourists. With the reconstruction finally over, the bridge is back to full capacity, and has another atmospheric feature.
The City of Prague has installed reflectors behind the statues. While after dark was always the best time to stroll across the bridge, with the added illumination, it is now an extra beautiful experience.
